Hello from the Yates family! We've called the Chapel Hill/Lewisburg area home since 2001, and we couldn't be happier. Our daughters thrived in Chapel Hill schools (GO ROCKETS!) from kindergarten through high school, and now we’re excited to be grandparents to two, soon to be three, precious grandchildren—what a joy! We cherish this wonderful community, and our goal is to create a welcoming space where kids can play, explore, and forge friendships, while parents connect and build relationships, too.

Hello, I am Ashley Yates. I have worked in early childhood education for the last twenty-seven years and hold a B.S. degree in Early Childhood Studies for children from six weeks to eight years of age. Throughout my career, I have held various positions, including teacher for all age groups, director, and curriculum coordinator, and I am now a business owner!

 

Childhood is a crucial time for development, as children learn about the world around them. In a time when much of their interaction is through small screens, I want to offer a space where they can engage with other children while building their interests through play. So whether you're a curious explorer, a tiny town mayor, or just looking for a little magic in your day—we hope you'll step into Wonderland, where play has no limits and imagination leads the way.
